I made a post a while ago about a wall hanging that i weaved but it didn't really work that well! These ones are heaps easier, way less time consuming and look so much better!

All You Will Need:
1 x ball of wool
1 x short piece of dowel
1 x metal ring

Cut lengths of wool about double the length you want your weave to be. Put them in six bundles of five and fold them in half.

![](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/1d55af_73a4791f73c642d4a45de96388235aca~mv2.png/v1/fill/w_717,h_476,al_c,q_85,enc_auto/1d55af_73a4791f73c642d4a45de96388235aca~mv2.png)
Create six "cow hitch" knots with the six bundles of wool.

Cut an extremely long piece of wool (about 2 meters, doesn't matter if it's too long because later it will be trimmed anyway) fold it in half and create a cow hitch knot around the metal ring!

Then create another normal knot about 30cm above the ring. If you want a shorter hanger you can make it shorter!

Split the two strands of wool at the knot and bring them down in a triangle to the edges of the dowel. (As you can see in the image above! ^^)

Tie the wool to the dowel.

Hang it up on the wall with a hook!

Trim all the loose and excess bits of string to whatever shape you would like it to be!
