DIY // CEMENT POTS
Cement is being used quite a lot lately in interior decor. Its really cheap but it looks expensive. Heres how to make these cement pots i made:
You Will Need:
2 x cement (depending on how big your container is)
1 x water
1 x big takeaway container
1 x small takeaway container
1 x tape
1 x paint
Mix the cement and water together with an old stick. (Use 2 x cement and 1 x water to get the perfect consistency).
Pour the cement mixture into your desired container (use the shape that you want the cement at the end). Then push the smaller container into the middle of the cement mix. Dont push it all the way down to the bottom.
Leave the cement to dry for 24 hours and take it out of the containers.
Then put tape on the pots so you can paint shapes or stripes or whatever you want onto them to give it your own touch.
And you're done! I decided to plant an aloe vera plant in one pot and in the other pot i melted candles down into it to create a new candle! :D
